Cron Jobs in Cloud Hosting
The Hepsia Control Panel, that is included with all our Linux cloud hosting, will help you to set up cron jobs in a few simple steps even if you have never used this type of function before. As soon as you sign in and visit the Cron Jobs section where you are able to create background tasks, you just need to copy and paste the system access path to PHP, Pyton or Perl with respect to the script you will execute, type the path in your account to the specific script file and select how often the cron job has to be carried out. For the latter, you'll be able to use the basic mode and choose the minutes, hours, days, etc. via simple drop-down navigation, or if you are more experienced, you can take advantage of the advanced mode and set the time period with numbers and asterisks i.e. the typical method which you may have used with various Control Panels.
Cron Jobs in Semi-dedicated Hosting
Setting up a cron job in our system is very simple. Once you log in to the Hepsia Control Panel, which comes with all the semi-dedicated server accounts, you are able to go to the Cron Jobs section where you just need to choose the directory path to the script file to be run plus the command path for the specific language the script was designed in - PHP, Perl, Python, Bash. You will be able to find the aforementioned inside the Control Panel, thus you can copy/paste it with several clicks. After that, choose the time interval for the cron via drop-down menus for the months, days, hours or minutes and you're all set. Our cron job setup wizard makes the whole process really simple and intuitive, so you will not have any problems if you don't have previous experience. In case you are more tech-savvy, you can also take advantage of the conventional cron format with the two paths, digits and asterisks typed on a single line.
